We took these shots a few weeks back (where does the time go) but I had to post because they were so darn cute and we really were happy with the result. This big boy just turned one last week and for his first birthday his mom wanted to have big bold bright colors – and I think we accomplished that for her! Happy 1st to you – can’t wait for our next shoot – Love you and your beautiful mama!

~Some information for those of you inquiring about Newborn Sessions this Spring~
For all of you lucky expecting mothers that are interested in a newborn session this Spring (or some time in the next few months) please take into consideration a few things -
We are currently booking sessions through May/June right now so it is a good idea to get a session booked soon even if you do not know the exact date you will be delivering. Because we try to take only a select number of sessions per month to avoid overbooking, we try to book most sessions 3-4 weeks in advance. Although we can’t pass up a perfect little newborn even if it is last minute – we do appreciate booking ahead.
Newborns are best photographed in within the first 14 days of being born if you want that brand new sleepy baby look in your images. After that, they start to change and are awakened much easier.
Newborn sessions can take several hours – every baby is different - We just want you to be prepared.

Spring is just around the corner, that means green hills,wildflowers and some great spots for a session!
We will be having one mini session scheduled each month (if more people inquire I can schedule another one) at a select location on my choice. If you have a great spot for a mini session or would like to host one at your house …get a minimum of 4 friends together and you get your session for free! (please contact me for more information about this)
This year we have a new options for mini sessions as well ~ we are offering our original mini sessions as well as a new sweet deal for you…
MINI session DETAILS:
PRICING: $450 (session *AND* disc of all edited images)
30 minute session for up to 4 people ($30 per additional person(s)) Immediate family only
Approximately 12-15 images
Access to online password protected gallery for proofing, sharing with friends & family and ordering.
DVD with all professionally edited images in high resolution & print release (where you are free to take wherever you like for prints, cards, canvases, etc).
OR
PRICING: $150 (Session comes with 1 11×14 print)

Johnny Jack and Cash! The cute kiddos and adorable pooch of one of my best friends. I was visiting for a few days and it happened to be about 40 outside ~ but I was not going to leave without snapping a few of these boys. Despite the freezing air..they did great it the 10 minutes we had them outside!

Well it is not secret that I am in love with photography. I love it, I love every single bit of it …I love that I learn something new every single day..and I like it that way. And for those of you that know me, you also know that I have a HUGE love for all things interior…I love taking a space and re-purposing the furniture and making the space beautiful and functional. Chances are if you ask me on any random day what I did the night before..I might tell you I was sanding and/or painting something…sewing a new pillow cover or working on some kind of DIY on a budget project.
I was searching apartment therapy http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/chicago/house-tours/danas-diy-modern-casual-home-house-tour-131799online the other day and came across this http://www.housetweaking.com/ house tweaking mom and I just fell in Love with so many of her simple perfect design ideas. Simple, modern, clean, cozy, kid friendly and…functional.
Just wanted to share my find of the weak ~ Thank you House Tweaking for inspiring us.
